Fian’s first portrait session by the Connecticut River was filled with moments where love settles into the smallest details. Dressed in the coziest little outfit, complete with a knit hat that made him look impossibly sweet, he drifted off to sleep while we captured his tiny fingers, the peaceful rise and fall of his chest, the way he seemed so at home in the outdoors.
A mother-daughter session at Quabbin Reservoir
Caroline and Evy showed up to this session at Quabbin Reservoir ready to make it their own personal storybook, and honestly, they nailed it. I gathered some blooms from my garden to bring, and Evy, being an icon of good taste, immediately claimed them as her own. That bouquet was thrown, twirled, gifted, reclaimed, and at one point, almost eaten (by whom? unclear).
And if this wasn’t already the dreamiest session, let’s not forget that the entire time, the Quabbin was just showing off in the background: rolling hills, golden fields, and a sunset so soft it felt like the sky was in on the moment. Senior portraits are about more than marking a milestone. They capture who you are, right now, in a way that words can’t always do. Nicole, you showed up with confidence, style, and a little bit of fire, and it shows in every single shot.
Tents, Tacos, and the Green Mountains
On a high field at Coolidge State Park in Plymouth, Vermont, with Killington Peak rising steady in the distance, Emily and Dan gathered a couple dozen of their favorite humans beneath the open pavilion and said their vows against a backdrop of wind-tousled grass and early fall Green Mountains.

At the Lake House Guest Cottages of the Berkshires, Kiki and Dan skipped the formality of a traditional wedding and instead hosted a weekend-long summer celebration of partnership, where friends lounged on porches, fanned themselves in the late afternoon light, and wandered barefoot between cottages and dock as if love were simply part of the landscape.
